Dragons exist in the stories and mythology of all cultures, representing everything from power and greed to guardianship and wisdom. Some believe that the innate human fear of serpents drives the dragon trope. Perhaps the skulls of dinosaurs ignited our ancestors imaginations. Whatever the reason, these creatures endure and thrive.
This is my friend, Cerebus. There are many dragons in my home, but she is most dear to me. She came from a breeder at the Renaissance Festival in Larkspurshire a few years ago.

Not long after coming home with me, she was drawn to a raven's collection of shiny things and raided its nest. Having never faced a foe with a sharp beak, Cerebus returned home with minor injuries.
After that experience, I created chainmaille armor for her, and reminded her to make better choices than stealing from strangers.

Unfortunately, she didn't realize that I meant stealing in and of itself is a bad choice. She didn't see a problem with stealing from my kid's Lego bins. It didn't take long for the knights of the Wells Realm to come calling for her horde. That chainmaille doesn't stand a chance against a knight with a long range Lego blaster.
